My trip to Louisiana

What a wonderful gift of a weekend with girlfriends. We picked up right where we left off and enjoyed lots of encouraging words, laughter and great food! Let me tell you how thankful I am for...

226. Emily...an exquisite hostess who is teaching her daughter to do the same. Her hospitality was seen in her inviting home, clean sheets, cozy blankets, delicious dinner, coffee with caramel machiatto creamer...

227. Lindsey...a generous, giving, humble soul. Our conversation never turned into gossip. She is a woman that lives out gentleness from the Holy Spirit is such a beautiful way. It was uplifting being in her presence.

228. Jennifer...such a genuine friend. From the hug she gave the moment she picked us up at the airport to the hug that said good-bye we shared a timeless, enduring friendship. She challenges me and encourages me in my walk of faith with her wise words and example.

229. Ryan...for encouraging me to go. For supporting these friendships. For parenting for two while I was gone. For not making me feel guilty about being gone, but making me feel needed when I returned home. For the hug at the airport...like we had been apart for weeks, not days.

230. My parents...despite illness and distance traveled they helped to care for my family while I was away. They are so giving of their time and love!

231. Safe travels.

232. Delightful conversation.

233. Laughter

234. Learning to love no pressure shopping with friends.

235. Lunch by a fountain.

236. Worshiping with my friends. A glimpse of heaven.

237. Warmer weather, the smell of freshness. Trees with green leaves.

238. Talking about faith and loving Jesus with my friends.

239. Making dinner with friends.

240. A dogpile of hugs and kisses and "I missed you mommy" when I returned home!
