Getting Along

Some of my happiest "mommy moments" are when my kids are playing together contentedly. Yesterday they all put on their winter gear and played together in the snow for over a half hour. It was wonderful to hear them helping each other, being creative and imaginative together and enjoying each others friendship.

Sometimes when I'm working, I will tell the kids I'll be right back and either run up or downstairs. Then I will just listen to them for a few minutes (or until they come up to find me again! ha!!!)

They are so creative and imaginative. I love letting them choose the games and tell me what to do! I just love it! It restores a child-like innocence within me...for those moments I get lost in whatever game we are playing and I don't have to worry about getting the dishes done or how I'm going to pay bills this month. What sweet restoration to my heart.

I love you all!
